Postmodern World

We are a generation
of sentence fragments
and acronyms.
Poetry lost in space.
We are singles bars filled
with nouns and verbs
dancing out of rhythm,
scoping the Black Hole
for drunken conjunctions.
We are dangling participles
nursing Twitter hangovers.
